Snowy, Snowy Night

It has warmed up here in Steel City. And it is a beautiful night. The snow is falling, and it is a perfect night for a walk in the snow. We went out for dinner with Ginger and Skipper. I had bar-b-qued ribs. mmmmmm. I think they are not too many points. Did I tell you I am on Weight Watchers? Lost 9 pounds so far, have at least 5 more to go, maybe 9 to have some wiggle room. Anyway, it began to snow tonight, and it is lovely. You must visit Reya at http://thegoldpuppy.blogspot.com/ . She has an amazing blog, and has a bird's eye view of DC during this historic time. Peg and I have been on the phone more than enough to discuss wanting to go to DC and thinking it would be impossible. I watched Obama's train trip today. We shall have a celebration here with his volunteer team. Other news...Bean got and yet another part in a play through Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Monkeyboy and Bird are going to see Penquins play tomorrow, then home to see the Steelers. Of course, Sunday dinner will include the game. I suppose I should head off to bed, but I am just too wound up....beautiful night, game tomorrow, inaugeration on Tuesday. Have a wonderful, warm, peaceful weekend.

From all I have heard, Mia, DC would be a trip to remember, but it sounds as though it is going to be a little...crowded! I understand that they are closing all bridges into the city, as well as some of the metro stops. It would be fun to be there, but I think you can see more if you watch it on television. The snow pictures look peaceful.

It's a perfect football day, and you are right, Mia, the snow is beautiful and my dog is loving it! Just got back from a run in the park where he romps, eats the snow (no yellow snow, though) and meets with his canine friends. I agree with bean...GO STEELERS AND BOO RAVENS!

Ok, I have time to go to the mall and get back. I see the game is on at 6:30 and I guess I'll watch it. Only because of all this Steeler stuff and because Ginger yelled at me.

Uh, Sassy, you could be watching the Eagles and Cards. They are much better than shopping. Snow here today is great, good sledding. Pretty pictures, mia.

Ohh Sassy, do you know what size jeans I wear? Yes, I am watching the game. Well, kinda. How's the wall situation Ben? Hope you did not knock out an outside one!

I'm a little late on this blog but we have faced the enemy and came out victorious. Way to go Steelers!

I hope you watched the game, Sassy. It was anything but boring.
Maybe, I can covert you into a football fan.
