Cleaning the Attic

As you might remember, we had guests in the attic. Ava found them to be amusing. Since that time, the attic stairs have been jammed with miscellaneous items...anything to keep the guests up and Ava down. Today however, the Bean and I decided to brave it and venture to the attic. We found the neatest doll house with working lights and sounds. After playing with that for a period of time, we began to shuffle items around. We can now get to the attic, and fortunately, found no guests residing there. Another wonder today, Dick, from Dick's T.V., picked up our broken T.V. this morning, and delivered it back to us at lunch time completely fixed. Dick has been reparing T.V.s for 45 years and said plasma T.V.s are "throw-a-ways". Dick is my new best friend and if you need someone to repair a T.V. (a lost art and skill) I'll be happy to share his phone number with you.

Didn't know you were going to clean the attic today when I dropped in for a visit. Boy, I got out of there in the nick of time.

From the looks of it, you have an excellent helper in Bean. We're all so glad you're home and doing so well.

I want Bean to come and live with me...I have no attic, just a very messy house. It's the dog's fault, I swear. When I leave for work, he just tears the dishes out of the cabinets, un-makes the bed, throws towels on the floor, etc. I had a dollhouse with lights too. It's still at my mom's. Maybe I'll bring it over here.

Although I live in NYC, can I have Dick's TV's number? How great to find someone who values repairing as opposed to tossing. We have a cobbler down the street, straight from Italy. I take everything to him, from my briefcase to my shoes. He sells leather goods too, not the trendy kind, but the good kind. Tell Dick to keep on fixing those TV's.

I had a ponytail like Bean's in school. Is she a cheerleader? I was, and we all wore the same ponytail for all the games. Your puter room looks very inviting.

I had a Fisher Price dollhouse. We would set up all the Fisher Price toys and build a small town with them. Then we would make roads and play with them all day. Do kids still do that now, or do they all play video games?

Jessica-I tried being a cheerleader in third and fourth grade, but it wasn't my "thing"...but I still like the ponytail.
