Where's breakfast?

Here they come, up to the front door after they have snacked in the garden (what is left of it). Babies, I think. They are pretty, but oh, so destructive. I am home with a rotten cold/cough trying to rest up for the road trip tomorrow. Couldn't even watch the Pens last night. I must say, they put forth a good effort. Not having seen the game, just the score, I am glad we at least played so there was a contest. Well, I am back to bed. Hoping to feel some better before the plane ride to Iowa tomorrow. Enjoy the deer...sometimes I can, and sometimes I can't.

Love the picture. The cold/cough lasts a week. I had it. The cough is the worst. Lots of fluids and sleep. Any excuse for sleep is a good one. Have a great trip. Pens did very well, they were never favored to win, but they sure gave them a run for their money.

Hope you plane ride goes well. And I'm glad you got pictures because your yard will probably be naked when you get back...you know how growing deer are. Have a great time and hope you shake the cold. Are you going to post while away? I hope so, what will I read!

That was some game! Road trip? What a good idea. Picture of the fawn is great. I can see them sitting at your table and saying "what's next?". Hope you feel better.

Naked? Oh, the yard. That's no fun. So, what will become of the fawn...will they survive? They are pretty. Puts a face, if you will, to all the complaining about how they are ruining our environment. Guess it's called getting even. Have a great trip, Mia.

Thanks for all the good wishes. I hear you, Sassy, I have very mixed feelings. OK, bad storms in Chicago and I think we have to take a puddle jumper to Cedar Rapids. And I can't even take a happy pill because I will have three kids. Darn! Ok, I am off to bed with my cough medicine and happy thoughts. The Pens were great, and I am really proud of them. Hockey God, did you have your hat on????? Wackymommy, hold off on the receipe. I hear you kids are followin to IA after mine leave...Let's drive my big brother NUTS!!!!!

Skipper would give his right arm to see those deer in hunting season. They are beautiful even though they think your yard is their privite buffet.

Sorry about your cold, get better and we'll warm up the cards.

Happy Anniversary
